Jack the Ripper: Cold Case
A Digital Murder Mystery Investigation
What You’re Signing Up For
This is a deep investigative experience. It is not a party game and it is not a whodunnit with a tidy ending. You will spend between four and six hours reading historical documents, interviewing AI suspects, and building a case. It rewards slow thinking.
The Whitechapel murders are genuinely unsolved. That is not a game mechanic, that is a historical fact. You cannot score 100 out of 100. Top Ripperologists still disagree about who did it, and so will your group. What you can do is build the most compelling case the evidence allows.
People who love this game tend to be the sort who get absorbed in a true crime documentary, argue with podcasters in their head, or have opinions about cold cases. If you just want something light for a dinner party, this probably is not it.
